Making Homemade Granola with Instant Oatmeal Packets

I've been in a granola mood today and thought to myself, I've never made my own granola before. I don't have any plain oats at home, just the instant oatmeal packets so I started digging online to see if there are recipes that used instant oatmeal packets. After comparing a few recipes, I decided to concoct my own using the ingredients I already have on hand. I made a small batch and here's how it turned out!

DIY Face Masks

Since disposable face masks were being reserved for our healthcare workers at the beginning of the pandemic, we've resorted to making face masks with things we already have at home. A new hobby that I picked up after I became a mom is finding old furniture and turning them into newly painted gems. I've experimented with spray paint and hand paint but now, I'm sticking to just hand painting because you have better control and it's less wasteful and more environmentally-friendly.

Throwing away old furniture around here in SLO requires a bit more thought and money to do. Not only it actually costs money to go to a trash dump to throw a piece of furniture away (different than many places in the East Coast where it's free for residents to throw their own trash), but I'm starting to be against the wasteful habit of buying new stuff when you can reuse the old.
