September 2024 Update

Storytime schedule below are free at all the libraries locations in the San Luis Obispo County. They are typically only 30 minutes long, occasionally longer. If you can't make it to the times of the library closest to your home, you can always venture out a little bit and go to another time and day at another library. During the school year, there is a fuller story time schedule when school starts back again.

Storytimes hosted by the libraries are usually only 30 minutes long so come on time! Here is the weekly story time schedule below for libraries in San Luis Obispo (SLO) County:

Aside from story times, these public libraries also host free movie events, seasonal holiday events and other themed events. We even went to a Pokemon Party at the Arroyo Grande Library and Morro Bay Library and the kids met other Pokemon collectors from all over the county. I've even met a few families from Santa Barbara County!  My kids really enjoyed trading Pokemon cards with other kids. You can read about our Pokemon Party experience at Arroyo Grande from our Day 5 of our Spring Break blog entry that I logged every day of Spring Break in San Luis Obispo County!

About Me

San Luis Obispo Mom Originally from San Diego, California, I'm a San Diego State University alumna, veteran's wife and mom of two kids who were born two years apart. After living on the East Coast for 6 years, we now reside in San Luis Obispo County and here, the exploration continues. In between work and momming it, I like to exercise.
