Located in Templeton and in an isolated area, Epoch Estate Wines offers wine connoisseurs a unique tasting room experience. Their architecture is sleek and clean inside and their outdoor seating area has a nice view of the vineyards from up high.

My husband made reservations online so when we got seated, the tastings were already set up on the table for us with 5 different glasses of wine. It was a nice presentation and we were glad to have been seated in the center of the main tasting room.

We went to The Austin Hope & Treana Tasting Cellar to try Austin Hope wines to celebrate a belated Valentine's Day.

My husband had made reservations a few days before and we were able to get an early reservation at 10:15AM. Most wine tasting rooms in Paso Robles don't open until 11AM so this was a really nice option for an earlier tasting. They gave us a private seating area with a view of the vineyards. Paso Robles is known as a popular wine country in California on the Central Coast and is part of San Luis Obispo County. As a San Luis Obispo County local, Clos Selene is one of my top 10 favorite wine tasting places in all of the county. It's romantic, intimate and every tasting that I had was so smooth. A tasting session here requires a reservation ahead of time and also a tasting deposit, which they charge immediately to hold your reservation. We visited Talley Vineyards in Arroyo Grande today. Arroyo Grande (AG) is part of San Luis Obispo county on the Central Coast of California. Over the weekend, we attended a wine release party at Vina Robles Vineyards & Winery in Paso Robles, California. (Paso Robles is part of San Luis Obispo county.) The food and wine pairings were fantastic. It was free for wine club members and that is so wonderful because sometimes other wineries still charge a fee for these release parties.

Over the weekend, we had special visitors and decided to take them to the kid-friendly Kelsey See Canyon Vineyards in San Luis Obispo.

The most extraordinary part about this vineyard is that they have beautiful peacocks roaming around.
